FLOW LIKE WATER EXHIBITION Opening Night

Water moves with regenerative oxygen. It is adaptable, flexible, powerfully creative to shift the shape of a rock over time. It is lifeforce that makes up 90% of our brain, 83% blood, and 75% of our muscles. Water is the nature of the unseen realms where wisdom and compassion dance in one union. Our minds are shaped by a stream of lived existence, threads of experience that weave, and form us through life. Our mindstream actively bubbles, though many times boils, or gets clogged and entangled by negative emotions, resistance, and trauma. These forces imprison the freedom of the heart, keeping it stuck from blooming into our highest potential and future possibility. These negativities blind us from the whole interconnected tapestry of Life. They separate and isolate us from the Source of clear knowing into our True Nature…what ancient wisdom keepers call Heart of Sky, Christ Consciousness, Bodhicitta, or simply, Pure Love. But the antidote and medicine is a breath away. What if daily we opened to a Source of Refuge to nourish, protect and purify the essential qualities our heartmind? How then might our human emotions, choices, and social interactions flow more naturally and harmoniously? What type of regenerative culture, community and individuals might we become if we surrendered to the emptiness of ego and invested in harnessing the power of our true nature potential?

Inhabiting the Heart of the Guesthouse: Guided Meditation with Journaling

Find supportive ground and renew your resilient heart through these challenging times of COVID and work towards Black Lives Matter through my online Zoom meditation, Inhabiting the Heart of the Guesthouse." This 75-minute experience invites you to come inside your sensing, feeling being through a guided visualization, based upon foundational contact points in the body. We will begin with a self-soothing centering before reading Rumi’s poem the Guesthouse. Then you will be guided to settle again into 3 journeys, each one followed by a 3-4 minute independent journal reflection. Every Tuesday at 4:30pm Eastern for $12. Register at least one hour before at  https://www.greenteayoga.com/yoga-schedule to receive the Zoom link. Find a comfortable, quiet seat and come prepared with a writing tool, paper, or a journal.

Rumi's poem, The Guesthouse, offers guidance during this COVID season for consciously being in and with our activated, emotional parts. We will read the poem, gently welcome, witness, and be curious about these "house guests" and cultivate inner safety & compassion through guided meditation and reflective journaling. Allow this svadyaya, self-study, to expand your heart's capacity and resilience.
